THE HISTORY OF THE HOTEL
The castle of Mr. Isaïe Nicolas NIQUET, manufacturer (canvas manufacturer) in Mérélessart and district councilor of Abbeville, canton of Hallencourt (March 25, 1888-1893) was built in the 1890s.
Steeped in history, we found old German inscriptions in the stables, witnesses to the requisition of the castle during the First World War.
Following a search for the project of a lifetime, we came across this mesmerizing building. The atypical architecture was obvious to us, renovating it and transforming it into a luxurious and intimate hotel. It took 3 years of work to make Château Niquet, the Château Héloïse. We have carried this family project, from conception, to opening. We have chosen to call our hotel "Château Héloïse", a tribute to our director's first name, thus symbolizing our commitment to creating a welcoming and friendly space in a warm and family atmosphere for all our guests.
